I've seen alot of varying reviews for this movie, all the way from 1 star to a full 5 stars. Well, I for one give BUCKY LARSON 5 stars without a moment's hesitation! This is one those films that I found by accident and it pulled me in like a hungry fisherman reeling in a prized rainbow trout.
Such is the case with Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star, which comes from Adam Sandler's production company and has a script cowritten by Sandler, plus a cast of eminently accomplished actors who either didn't know they were slumming it in a stupid, raunchy comedy, or for some reason didn't care.
Putrid and completely unfunny, 'Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star' is a torturous exercise for a viewer. I can't count the times I wanted to walk out of this ghastly excuse for a movie.
