Narrative Lupin the Third: Daisuke Jigen's Gravestone (2014):

Lupin & Jigen have their sights set on a treasure called the Little Comet, which is located in the heavily fortified country of East Doroa. During the heist, Jigen is almost killed by a sniper named Yael Okuzaki. His specialty is preparing tombstones for his targets before executing them. It's said that no one can survive after Yael makes their tombstone.

That being said if you are a Lupin the 3rd fan, this is one of the coolest and most well animated pieces of Lupin anime ever created and it can't be missed. Personally I think Jigen is the best character in Lupin so it was especially cool that he was the main point of focus in this special.

Final Verdict: This 50min saga split over two halves is a strange little beast. While there's gorgeous animation, plenty of action and a nice soundtrack, Daisuke Jigen's Gravestone unfortunately fails its deuteragonists by making them almost shadows of their former selves and combining them with a plot that's a little unfocused and somewhat uneven.
